Learn more about Actel FPGAs
Actel
Corporation
is the leading supplier of nonvolatile, low-power FPGAs, mixed-signal FPGAs,
and programmable logic solutions. The company’s mission is to manage power
consumption at both the chip and system levels, leveraging the industry’s
ultra low-power FPGAs and unique mixed-signal FPGAs, to offer system
designers a competitive edge.
In support of its FPGA solutions, Actel offers
integrated design suites and IP cores, as well as programming tools, design
services and technical support.
Actel’s history of reliability, coupled with
its unique flash-based technology, sets it apart from traditional FPGA
manufacturers. Whether you’re designing applications for consumer and
portable medical markets, tomorrow’s environmentally friendly data centers,
industrial controls, or the automotive, space and military/aerospace
markets, power matters.
Actel’s low-power IGLOO® and ProASIC®3 flash FPGAs,
with densities ranging from 10,000 to 3,000,000 system gates, are optimized
for logic, I/O count, and performance. IGLOO devices
consume as little as 2 mW in standby mode and power-optimizing design tools
reduce dynamic power consumption by as much as 30%.
Actel’s mixed-signal Fusion FPGAs are the world’s first devices to integrate
FPGA gates, programmable analog, and the ability to embed a full 32-bit ARM®
CortexTM-M1 microcontroller. Additionally the on-chip integration
of discrete functions such as temperature, voltage, and current monitors are
ideally suited for system management applications.
Actel’s system-critical FPGAs include extended temperature automotive,
military, and aerospace devices as well as a wide variety of space-class
radiation-tolerant devices. Actel’s nonvolatile antifuse and flash FPGAs are
inherently immune to neutron induced configuration upsets in ground, air,
and maritime applications, making them the ideal solution for
mission-critical applications.
